F.A.Q.

Are there any prizes or timing?

No podiums, scoring is done on Strava

What time are runs at?

We’ll start the marked course at 6PM on the dot, but if you’re not interested in running at the front of the pack, feel free to start a few minutes later.

How long are the routes?

Marked routes will be 4K long, with options to do one or two loops, depending on your pace and preference.

What time is the social?

At 7PM, we’ll get the social going—drinks, snacks and raffle prizes will be provided!

What should I bring?

While we’ll have a big jug of water and drinks for the apres, BYO bottle or pack for during the run, along with any snacks/packs that you typically run with. We also recommend bug spray and a change of clothes for post-run, since it gets sweaty out there!

Will you cancel for rain?

Sometimes. Thunderstorms, huge amount of rain that will impact trails, or excessive heat may lead to a cancellation.

Will send email out by 3PM the day of.

We’ll have one bonus rain date at the end if any dates get cancelled.

Can kids register?

Yes, but please be conscious that CORR is not a babysitting service. Youth members need to be accompanied by a parent at all times.  (Parents must be on site.)

Are you insured?

Yes!

How do I put a Strava file on your phone offline use?

Save Route: Find this week’s route on the CORR Strava. Save it, and download for offline use.

Preload Map: Open the Strava app and go to your Saved Routes. Load the route map while you still have WiFi/Data.

Go Offline: When you are ready to start, you can turn on Airplane Mode or turn off mobile data.

Start Recording: Go to the Record screen, select the route from the route icon (bottom right), and start your activity.!

Are there podiums after the runs?

Sorry, but no podiums here! We want to be as inclusive and fun-focused as possible. If you want to keep track, make sure that you complete the full segment (the Strava route) and upload your file to Strava after. The leaderboard there will serve as the unofficial scoreboard. But all prizes and giveaways will be random draw, since we want EVERYONE to feel like a winner!
